We all know that WPC Laminated Board plays a vital role in our production and life, so what is the effect of hot-pressing temperature on the performance of WPC Laminated Board? Next, let us take a look.
Here is that the content list:
Hot-pressing temperature is an extremely important factor
The hot-pressing temperature is the prerequisite to ensure the uniform distribution of the plastic melt
In the production process of WPC Laminated Board composite board, the hot-pressing temperature is an extremely important factor. When the hot-pressing temperature exceeds the melting point of the thermoplastic, the plastic is in a molten state and has a certain fluidity. When it is fully melted and penetrates the wood veneer, it will be glued to the veneer to form a stable structure. Three kinds of hot-pressing temperatures of 160, 180, 200 ℃ affect the performance of different layers of plates. Under the hot-pressing temperature of 160~200 ℃, the static bending strength of the three-layer plate is less than 30 MPa, which does not meet the national standard. The static flexural strength of the 3-layer board shows a downward trend with the increase of temperature. This is because the number of layers of the board is small, the thickness is thin, and the structure of the WPC Laminated Board itself is destroyed when the temperature is higher, resulting in negative strength and temperature of the board. Under three temperature gradients, the static bending strength of the 5-layer sheet has little change. When the hot-pressing temperature is 160 ℃, the static flexural strength of the 7-layer and 9-layer plates are both the minimum, and the static flexural strength is the maximum at 180 ℃. Under the hot-pressing temperature of 180 ℃, the static bending strength of the obtained sheet is relatively large. With the increase of the hot-pressing temperature, the elastic modulus of each group of different layers of plates has different trends. The 3-layer, 5-layer, and 9-layer plates all reach the maximum value at 180 ℃, and as the temperature rises High, its elastic modulus shows a trend of increasing first and then decreasing. The 7-layer board shows a trend of decreasing first and then increasing. The most obvious change in the bonding strength of the WPC Laminated Board is the 5-layer board. The bonding strength at 180 ℃ is about twice that at 160 ℃ and 200 ℃. This indicates that the 5-layer board is a medium-thickness material. At 180 ℃, the WPC Lamination Board has good fluidity and fully penetrates the board. This temperature does not damage the quality of the veneer itself, and the form board has a good bonding strength. The 7-layer and 9-layer sheets commonly used for packaging pallets have a bonding strength of 1.5 MPa at 180 ℃.
In the preparation process of the WPC Laminated Board composite board, the hot-pressing temperature is the prerequisite to ensure the uniform distribution of the plastic melting, but there is also the problem of temperature transmission during the forming process. How to ensure that the intermediate layer plastic reaches the melting temperature is a key factor that needs to be considered. However, too high a temperature will cause thermal degradation of the wood and bring strength loss to the WPC Laminated Board material. Comprehensive analysis shows that when the hot-pressing temperature reaches 180 ℃, the WPC Laminated Board composite board can meet the requirements of Type II plywood. Under three different hot-pressing temperatures, the water absorption thickness expansion rate of the sheet is less than 7%, the water absorption thickness expansion rate of the 3-layer sheet gradually decreases with the increase of the hot-pressing temperature, and the water absorption thickness expansion rate of the 5-layer and 7-layer sheet Between 3% and 4.5%, the water absorption thickness expansion rate of the 9-layer board is less than 3%, and its water absorption thickness expansion rate has no obvious relationship with the hot-pressing temperature. On the whole, under the condition of 180 ℃, the water absorption thickness expansion rate of the sheet is the smallest, and the water resistance is the best. Compared with traditional plywood, eucalyptus veneer-HDPE composite material has superior water resistance. This is because HDPE film is a resin material with very good water resistance. When HDPE film is compounded with eucalyptus veneer, the HDPE film penetrates the eucalyptus veneer. On the one hand, it can be filled in the porous structure of the veneer to hinder the entry of moisture, on the other hand, can cover a part of the veneer and slow down the rate of entry of moisture. Therefore, the eucalyptus veneer-HDPE composite material absorbs less moisture at the same time and has better water resistance. When the hot-pressing temperature is 180 ℃, the mechanical properties and water resistance of different layers of WPC Lamination Board composite panels are better. It can be seen that 180 ℃ is the optimal value of the hot-pressing temperature during the hot-pressing of the HDPE film eucalyptus veneer composite sheet.
